Canines
You are close to the ground in the form of a doberman. The path has become grassy and cool beneath your paws.
Once, these buildings were tall, beautiful, proud even. They were once home to a much prouder race, though you can see the original owners are long gone, a few artifacts of them remain. You see shards of a clay vase, and few pieces of jewelry glinting in the sun. The race before here was a rich one indeed. Quickly you notice what species is here now.
This place has gone to the dogs, literally. You see a group of dogs at one end of the ruins, lead by a husky. It seems to be a hunting party. You notice a few coyotes, greyhounds, and wolves among them as well. A group of pups are play fighting in an alleyway between buildings. Their play is short-lived however as a female mutt herds them into a dilapidated building. You lay your ears back and continue through, noticing some more hostile looks greeting you as you move past the small water hole being fed by a thin stream. The hunting party leader casts a cold look at you and with a yip, they move out. Other dogs simply ignore you as you trot along. They are quite friendly to one another however. You navigate through pieces of what was once a home and slip silently into the woods.

The Packs
The Pack of Nightrain lives in the eastern branch of the ruins and is known to be a bit crueler than their neighbors. This isn't to say they're all mean or a pack of hellhounds, but they aren't near as shy of bloodshed and carnage. This serves their advantage in battle, but leads to some heated debates with their neighbors, the Pack of Windshadows. These pack share territory freely, but have separate hunting grounds. They may freely associate with one another in moderation. Windshadows has a much more peaceful nature, do not be fooled though, they will just as quickly snap your spine as offer you a fresh meal. These pack are ruled by separate Alphas and are permitted to take mates from the other packs, but both must live in one place, meaning one will sacrifice their home.
- There are two packs
- You may be in whichever pack you want, one will be a bit more aggressive than the other.
