Herbs and Their Medicinal Purposes
Deadly Herbs
- Juniper Berries- Stomach aches and coughs. Chew, and swallow.
- Broom- Good for broken bones, make/chew into poultice and spread on afflicted area. Will sting slightly.
- Marigold Leaves-Fight infection, make/chew into poultice and pack into wound. Will sting.
- Chervil- Bellyaches, consume.
- Chervil Leaves- Fights and prevents infection. Make/Chew into paste and press into wound. Consider binding with catchweed or cobweb.
- Burdock Root- For Bites. Squeeze juices onto bite. IT SHALL STINGGG
- Alderbark- Toothaches. Eat.
- Yarrow- Used to induce vomiting. Consume to vomit poisonous things.
- Feverfew- Good against chills, fever, and coughs and headaches. Eat, smells bitter. Tastes bitter.
- Catnip(Catmint)- Fights against whitecough, greencough, and blackcough. Tastes very good.
- Goldenrod- Good for aching joints, make/chew into a poultice and apply to achy area.
- Poppy Seeds- Eases pain and soothes the heart. Consume but not much, also aids sleep.
- Mouse Bile- Press on ticks to remove them. Warning! Do not eat! To transport, wrap in a large oak leaf to carry. Remember to wash hands,paws,tails ect. after using.
- Ragwort and Juniper- When out of Goldenrod this poultice will also aid aching joints.
- Chamomile- Soothing, consume. Also good for shock.
- Travelling Herbs- One type will give you strength, another will prevent hunger for 12 hours. Consume both before embarking on a journey.
- Cobwebs- Used to staunch bleeding. Wrap on wound as gauze.
- Coltsfoot- Helps breathing. Consume
- Watermint- Good for younglings bellyaches, good minty flavor.
- Comfrey- Injury and Broken bone healing accelerator.
- Celandine- Good for irritated eyes. Extract juice and put in eye.
- Catchweed-Used on deep wounds to hold in heavy poultices.
- Sticks-Used as splints for broken bones.
- Ivy leaves- Used only on animals. Animals,do not chew! (for humanoids do not touch or eat) Grind into poultice and use on cracked paws only.
- Blackberry Leaves- Used to cure bee stings, smells bitter.
- Capsicum- Cures rabies over a long period of dosage. Put on bite area. If humanoid, drink as tea.
Deadly Herbs
- Deathberries- Will kill a creature if not vomited up quickly, even then poison will cause serious long-term- ailment.
- Stinging Nettle- Will cause itching if punctures skin. Remove them carefully.
- Brocken Plant-The stem and roots are poisonous if consumed, as are parts of the leaf, but the leaf tip when de-veined can awaken a fainted or unconscious creature.
